Our Wooden Deacon's Bench has a seat height of a standard adult chair of 17". The seat is a lid, which opens to gain access to a storage area below. This Deacon's Bench can be used in many areas around the house. It can be positioned in the mudroom or back landing, the den or family room, or in the hallway near the bedrooms. It can store from rain boots in the mudroom to comforters or quilts in the family room or den. It can be a hamper in the hallway by the bedrooms or it can store extra bedding there. With all of these ideas it becomes irresistible to have one in your home.

The Wooden Deacon's Bench is finished with a Brown  Hand Rubbed Oil finish. The color is a non-toxic stain-like impregnated finish. The Wooden Deacon's Bench seat height is 17" high, the width is 24" wide, and the height is 32" high at the back.
