Terms and Conditions
#1.) Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice.
#2.) Currency: All prices listed are in US Dollars.
#3.) Payment: All forms of payment are payable in US Dollars.
#4.) Inventory: Subject to availability.
#5.) Shipping: All products are shipped from the factory, FOB, Chesaning, Michigan, 48616, and the freight costs are prepaid and added to the order as a shipping and handling charge.
- Items in stock shipped within 1 to 3 business days. All out of stock items will be shipped based on our response quotation within 48 hours, which normally would ship in 1 to 2 weeks. We normally ship ground UPS, but reserve the right to ship small orders, (generally 1-3 lbs.), via USPS Priority Mail, and in the instance of some larger items that can't be shipped via UPS Ground, we will use UPS Freight, for which the shipping costs are currently calculated on our website.
#6.) Cancellations: Subject to Charlie's Woodshop acceptance and terms, this will indemnify Charlie's Woodshop against any loss.
#7.) Damage Claims: Please inspect all shipments promptly and make any damage claims to Charlie's Woodshop for any UPS shipments or directly to a common carrier who accepts all liability for claims. Charlie's Woodshop will assist in the process of collections.
#8.) Shortages: Claims for shortages or errors must be made in writing within 10 days from receipt of merchandise, along with a copy of the invoice. Don't return anything without pre-authorization. It will not be acknowledged.
#9.) Returns: All returns must have prior approval from Charlie's Woodshop before shipping back and subject to the following conditions:
-All returned goods must be sent back pre-paid of all transportation charges. They must be packaged similar as when shipped so as to protect the contents. If not, damage may occur and will incur either a restocking charge or no refund at all due to damage.
-If purchased within 30 days, they can be returned for full refund of the purchased price, exclusive of shipping and handling charges. They must be in brand-new saleable condition; otherwise a 25% restocking charge will apply. If damaged, no refund will be possible.
-If returns are due to damage claims or warranty claims please see that section.
#10.) Back-Orders: We do not normally ship partial orders unless there are special circumstances deeming it necessary. If this is the case we will notify the customer.
#11.) Waiver: A waiver by Charlie's Woodshop of one or more of the conditions of the Terms of Sale is not to be considered a waiver of any other clause(s) of the terms of sale.
#12.) Warranty: Charlie's Woodshop warrants all of "THE PUZZLE-MAN TOYS" products manufactured by it to be free from defects in the workmanship or the materials under normal use and service that it is intended for. If any part of the product proves to be defective in the workmanship or the materials, and if such part is within 12 months of the date of shipment or invoice, (whichever is the latter), from the manufacturer's factory, first must have prior written approval for return, then returned to such factory with transportation charges pre-paid, and if the same is found by the manufacturer to be defective in the workmanship or the materials, it will be replaced or repaired, at the manufacturer's discretion, free of charges, and returned to the customer transportation charges pre-paid.
-The manufacturer assumes no liability for consequential damages of any kind, due to abuse or otherwise not normal usage of the product, and the buyer, by acceptance of this product, will assume all liability for the consequences of its use and/or misuse by the buyer or others.
-A defect within the meaning of this warranty in any part or any product shall not, when such part is capable of being repaired or replaced, operate to condemn such product.
-This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties (including without limiting the generality of the foregoing warranties of merchant ability and fitness for a particular purpose), guarantees, obligations, or liabilities, expressed or implied, by the manufacturer or its representatives and by the statute or rule of law.
#13.) Warranty Service: No products are to be returned to manufacturer without having prior approval. Proof of purchase, invoice or shipment from manufacturer within 12 months, is required to substantiate any warranty claim.

#14.) Repair Policy: Charlie's Woodshop warrants "THE PUZZLE-MAN TOYS" products to be free from defects in the workmanship or the materials under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of invoice or shipment, (whichever is the latter), from the factory.
-If for some reason a returned product is found to not qualify under our terms and conditions of our expressed warranty, we will notify the buyer of said costs of repair and return freight charges with an explanation. The returned product will not be returned unless we get a response and prepayment for repair costs and/or return freight charges.
If no response within 30 days after notification the product will be disposed of with no compensation what so ever.
#15.) NOTICE : UNDELIVERED & RETURNED SHIPMENTS : If an order is shipped and is then undeliverable for any reason and is returned to us by the original carrier (UPS), we will hold such product(s) and notify the customer by e-mail and or phone to whom it was shipped for disposition of said product(s). If we are to reship to another address we will require payment for the return shipping costs to us of the original shipment and the new costs to ship to another destination address. Upon receipt of payment we will reship the product(s). If it is desired to no longer want the product(s) we will refund the cost of the product(s) less the original shipping costs, and less the return shipping costs, and less a 25% unauthorized restocking charge. It will be credited back to the original form of payment. If there is a negative result in the calculations for return fees we will bill the original form of payment for the balance to cover the negative balance. If for some reason no response is received within (7) days of notice, the merchandise will be disposed of at our discretion and NO credit will be issued to the customer who had ordered the product(s) in the first place.
